Project name: Regional Empowerment for Advanced Collaboration and Technology
Project acronym: RE@CT
Program priority: 1 – Cooperation for a smarter program area
Specific objective: RSO1.1 – Development and strengthening of research and innovation capacities and adoption of advanced technologies Partners: Industrial park Nova Gradiška d.o.o. + Center for Professional Training Šabac + International Center for Transfer of Knowledge and Technology, Partnership and Innovation (ICTTI) Novi Sad

The RE@CT project is aimed at establishing local centers for advanced production and technology in Nova Gradiška (Croatia) and Šabac (Serbia), with the support of ICTTI from Novi Sad.

The main goal of the project is to invest in education and professional training in order to develop a highly qualified workforce that can meet the increasingly complex requirements of modern industry, especially in the context of Industry 4.0.
The project includes the formation of a Cross-Border Collaborative Council (CBCC) that will bring together experts with the aim of developing customized curricula for adult education in specific technological fields. This collaboration will enable the development of specialized training programs that will meet the needs of industry in both countries.

One of the key components of the project is the use of VR applications that enable specialized training in advanced technologies such as CNC machining, mechatronics, robotics, automation and laser applications. This innovative approach to education reduces the skills gap and ensures that the workforce is prepared to use the latest technologies in manufacturing processes.

RE@CT relies on a combination of existing and new resources for education and vocational training to stimulate innovation and create an environment that supports growth and development. Emphasis is placed on specialization, mutual cooperation between different institutions and sustainable use of resources. Through these activities, the project aims to create a competitive regional ecosystem that can attract investment, stimulate economic growth and improve the quality of life in local communities. The total value of the project is €451,016.00, of which €383,363.60 is a grant.
